Project: UTV Replacement

In 2008 a camp supporter (Chad Yoder) decided it was time the camp had a new tool.  A UTV (Utility Vehicle) can be used for lots of tasks, from running supplies around camp to snow plowing.  We had never had such a tool.  After the first summer of use we realized how useful this thing was!  We started assigning new tasks to it.  Now it is an essential part of the camp maintenance and programs.  Here are Chad and Brandon (ED) back in 2008.

The story continues when Gary Parker (facilities manager) decided we could plow snow with it.  In 2016 we bought an inexpensive plow to test the waters.  Turns out the only limiting factor was the size of the plow and the manual controls we selected!  Traction?  Yup.  Pushing a foot of snow?  Yup.  The tractor with pusher/blower combo and the gator with plow make up the machine snow removal team.  And snow removal is a big deal.  We get about 160″ average snowfall per year.  It would be very expensive to contract this duty with four driveways, a parking lot, ice rink and many walks.  The upgraded UTV will have a much upgraded snow plow!

Please help us replace the current UTV which is underpowered and well used (and 10 years old).  We will sell the one we have now and put the proceeds toward the new one.
